ASTD Mt. Diablo Chapter invites you to bring your remote audience in a little closer via online training

Online Training that Works: Engage & Educate Your Remote Audience

Transitioning from the classroom to live web-based training can be challenging.  How do you keep your virtual audience engaged when they can check e-mail, surf the web or chat with their colleagues? Try serving your virtual audience PIE. Sheri Jeavons will discuss how to reorganize your classroom content using the TOP Mastery organizational PIE (Persuade, Inform and Educate) format.  Learn how to alter your existing training and delivery style to the virtual world – specifically, increase your vocal energy, incorporate interaction, set guidelines for focused participation, explore techniques to handle questions, and optimize your time online.  You will end the evening with a completed introduction to an upcoming online training session, the TOP Mastery PIE format worksheet outlining how to organize the content for your online training event, and specific techniques that you can immediately add to your online training style.

Presenter:  Sheri Jeavons, the “Virtual Communications Coach”, is a highly regarded communications consultant, dynamic speaker, entrepreneur, and founder of Power Presentations, Inc.
